Today was Madison and Jordan's piano recital. Such beautiful and talented girls---I feel so blessed to be their grandmother.

Tripod
Carl ordered three tripod sprinklers for the yard in Lampasas. We hope that watering the weeds and bermuda grass, the sticker burrs will be choked out.

Pop Show
Rebecca sang American Honey in the Goodson Pop Show. It is hard to believe this beautiful and talented girl is only in the seventh grade. She is amazing!

Backyard
This weekend we put a new sprinkler in the garden, moved the birdbath closer to the house and rearranged the stepping stones. The stones used to be straight down which made navigating them quite difficult. You can also see the stump where the mesquite tree used to stand. I am hoping to put three crepe myrtles at the bottom of the hill.

Madison: Live the Magic!
Madison, a sophomore choir student, performed Cruella De Vil, Circle of Life, and You'll be in my Heart, all from Disney movies. She is not only beautiful but a great singer as well.

Potatoes 2011
Two weeks ago the garden was completely bare--deer had eaten everything down to the dirt. We reconnected the scarecrow, changed the sprinkler head, and combined with 1" of rain--we now have potatoes growing again.
